2026 Euro-Tour – Romania Basketball Showcase
The Euro-Tour is an elite overseas basketball showcase designed for athletes seeking professional exposure in Europe. Held in Timișoara, Romania from February 17–26, 2026, players will train and compete against FIBA-level clubs under top European coaches, including Dragan Petricevic — Romania’s Coach of the Year and head coach of SCM Politehnica Timișoara. Known as the “Little Vienna”, Timișoara is one of Eastern Europe’s most vibrant and historic basketball hubs. Located near the borders of Hungary and Serbia, this city blends old-world charm with a thriving sports culture. Players will train and compete in the Constantin Jude Sports Arena, home of SCM Politehnica Timișoara, in front of passionate local fans and a growing community of international talent.

Coaches & Staff
The Euro-Tour is directed by Dragan Petricevic, Head Coach of SCM Politehnica Timișoara, Africa Cup Winner, and Romania Coach of the Year.
Supporting the staff is James Blackburn, Director of International Basketball for SLASH International Sports and former Euro-Tour Head Coach (2020 & 2021). Together, they bring decades of FIBA and professional experience in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East markets — ensuring players receive world-class training and career guidance.
Travel & Accommodations
Players stay at Hotel Boavista, a modern 3-star hotel located near the heart of Timișoara, within walking distance of parks, the Bega River, and local attractions.
Each room houses two players with twin beds. Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.
Local transportation is covered throughout the tour. International airfare is not included — players must book their own flights (pre-approved by staff) to and from Timișoara.
